Pastoral Care Ministry

The Pastoral Care Commission is composed of both clergy and lay members who reach out to those in our parish with special pastoral needs. Visits by clergy or lay Eucharistic visitors are available for those who are ill or home-bound. Special services are conducted at local nursing homes and assisting living facilities. Pastoral counseling, inner healing ministry and Stephen’s Ministry is available for those in life transitions and crisis. For couples who are preparing for marriage, special counseling and marriage classes are provided.

“God has so composed the body so that … the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. You are Christ's body, and individually members of it.”   1 Corinthians 12:24-27

For more information on pastoral visits for those who are ill or home-bound, or for counseling or marriage preparation, contact the Rev. Cathie P. Young.
Parishioners with family emergencies may contact our clergy at home at any time of the day or night. Please use your parish roster to contact Rev. Cathie or Pastor Richard.
